Welcome to The Federation Parent, Staff and Friends Association (FPSFA)

At our school, the Parent Teacher Association is called The Federation Parent, Staff and Friends Association (FPSFA).  It supports The Federation of the Convent of Jesus and Mary Infant School and Nursery and St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Junior School.

Our community includes:

• Parents, carers and guardians
• Teachers and school staff
• Governors and community supporters
• Any adult aged 18+ who offers appropriate support and is accepted by the committee

The FPSFA works together to enrich school life and help every child thrive. Our main aims are to:

Support Learning

• Provide or help fund facilities, resources and activities that enhance children’s learning and school experience
• Improve the school environment

Build Strong Relationships

• Strengthen connections between families, teachers, staff, governors and the wider community
• Encourage collaboration and a shared sense of belonging across both schools

Engage the Community

• Organise events and activities that bring people together and support school life
• Create inclusive opportunities for families to get involved

Fundraise Responsibly

• Raise and manage funds to support the schools’ educational goals
• Operate in line with charity law and the guidance of the Charity Commission for England and Wales
