Admissions
The Convent of Jesus and Mary Infant School & Nursery is a Roman Catholic school founded to provide education for Catholic children. The school is conducted by the Board of Governors which has responsibility for admission of pupils. While the school welcomes in the main Catholic children, the Governors will consider other applications made on behalf of eligible pupils by parents/carers who are prepared to support and uphold the ethos and aims of our Catholic school.
The Governors intend to admit up to 90 pupils per year group each academic year.
THE RECEPTION OPEN DAY WILL TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY 12TH NOVEMBER AT 3.30PM.
NO BOOKING REQUIRED.
ADMISSION TO RECEPTION SEPTEMBER 2027
The forms for application to our Reception September 2027 can be downloaded below.
Your application should include:
Supplementary Information Form
Certificate of Catholic Practice (to be obtained from your Parish Priest directly.)
You must bring along with your application form:
Original Birth Certificate
Original Baptism Certificate
All the forms should be returned to the school office having being completed in full by 15th January 2027 3.00pm
You must also apply to your local authority no later than 15th January 2027
THE NURSERY OPEN DAY WILL TAKE PLACE ON TUESDAY 10TH NOVEMBER AT 3.30PM.

ADMISSION TO NURSERY (3/4 YR OLDS) SEPTEMBER 2027
The forms for application to our Nursery September 2027 can be downloaded below.
Your application should include:
Nursery Application Form
Certificate of Catholic Practice (to be obtained from your Parish Priest directly.)
You must bring along with your application form:
Original Baptism Certificate
Original Birth Certificate
Proof of address
All the forms should be returned to the school office having being completed in full by 15th January 2027 3.00pm
Part Time Nursery 8.30 - 11.30pm Full Time Nursery 8.30 - 2.30pm
If you are only eligible for 15 hours (Part Time Nursery) and would like to pay for the additional 15 hours (Full Time Nursery) the rate is £12.50 per hour (£37.50 per day for the additional 3 hours). Payments will be made a term in advance.
