2022/23 END OF YEAR DATA

  • In 2018/19 the Early Years Foundation Stage 81% of pupils in Reception attained a Good Level of Development against the Early Years Framework. This was above the LA and National averages of 72%.
  • In 2021/22 the Early Years Foundation Stage 78.6% of pupils in Reception attained a Good Level of Development against the Early Years Framework. This is above the LA (65.7%) and National averages of (65.2%).
  • In 2022/23 the Early Years Foundation Stage 80.3% of pupils in Reception attained a Good Level of Development against the Early Years Framework. This is above the LA (66.3%) and National averages of (67.2%).

 

  • At the end of year one 82% of pupils attained the expected standard in the Phonic Screening test.

 

  • At the end of the academic year 2018-2019 attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Reading was (80.8%), above the LA (73.6%) and above National (74.9%). Attainment in Reading at Greater Depth was (37.2%), above the LA (23%) and above National (25%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2021-2022 attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Reading was (80.6%), above the LA (67.3%) and above National (66.9%). Attainment in Reading at Greater Depth was (20.8%), above the LA (18%) and above National (18%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2022-2023 attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Reading was (80.3%), above the LA (68%) and above National (68.3%). Attainment in Reading at Greater Depth was (15.5%), in line with the LA (19%) and above National (18.8%).

 

 

  • At the end of the academic year 2018-2019, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Writing was (70.5%), in line with the LA (68%) and in line with National (69.2%). Attainment in Writing at Greater Depth was (16.7%), in line with the LA (14.1%) and in line with National (14.8%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2021-2022, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Writing was (59.7%), in line with the LA (57.5%) and in line with National (57.6%). Attainment in Writing at Greater Depth was (8.3%), in line with the LA (9.4%) and in line with National (8%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2022-2023, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Writing was (67.6%), in line with the LA (61.1%) and in line with National (60.1%). Attainment in Writing at Greater Depth was (11.3%), in line with the LA (9.5%) and in line with National (8.2%).

 

 

  • At the end of the academic year 2018-2019, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Maths was (78.2%), in line with the LA (76%) and in line with National (75.6%). Attainment in Maths at Greater Depth was (30%), above the LA (22%) and above National (22%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2021-2022, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Maths was (75%), in line with the LA (68.3%) and in line with National (67.7%). Attainment in Maths at Greater Depth was (18.1%), in line with the LA (18.9%) and with National (15.1%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2022-2023, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Maths was (83.1%), above the LA (70.3%) and above National (70.4%). Attainment in Maths at Greater Depth was (25.4%), in line with the LA (18.7%) and with National (16.3%).

 

 

  • At the end of the academic year 2018-2019, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Science was (93.6%), significantly above the LA (78.6%) and National (82.3%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2021-2022, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Science was (91.7%), significantly above the LA (73%) and National (77.1%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2022-2023, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in Science was (93%), significantly above the LA (75.4%) and National (78.7%).

 

 

  • At the end of the academic year 2018-2019, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in combined Reading, Writing and Maths was (65.4%), in line with the LA (64.5%) and in line with National (64.6%). Attainment in combined Reading, Writing and Maths at Greater Depth was (9%), in line with the LA (10.9%) and in line with National (11.2%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2021-2022, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in combined Reading, Writing and Maths was (59.7%), in line with the LA (53.4%) and in line with National (53%). Attainment in combined Reading, Writing and Maths at Greater Depth was (8.3%), in line with the LA (7.3%) and in line with National (5.9%).
  • At the end of the academic year 2022-2023, attainment at the expected standard for Year 2 in combined Reading, Writing and Maths was (66.2%), in line with the LA (57.4%) and in line with National (55.7%). Attainment in combined Reading, Writing and Maths at Greater Depth was (5.6%), in line with the LA (7.3%) and in line with National (6.2%).
